film superstar of yester years Shammi Kapoor passed away today in the early morning at Breach Candy hospital. Shammi was 79 years old. He was in the hospital since last one week. He breathed his last at 5.15 am. Shammi will be cremated tomorrow.

Shammi Kapoor the vetran Hindi actor passes away  few hours ago. He was suffering from Renal Chronic failure and was admitted at Breach candy hospital, He breathed his last in hospital at 5.15 am.

Shammi Kapoor was born on October 21, 1931. He was the second of the three sons born to Prithviraj Kapoor. He was best known for his roles in films like Tumsa Nahin Dekha, Dil Deke Dekho, Junglee, Teesri Manzil and An Evening in Paris.
