Saritha S Nair, main accused in the solar case, told before the solar judicial commission that an amount of Rs 1.90 crore was offered to the chief minister in two instalments. Jikkumon, personal staff member of the chief minister, had demanded Rs 7 crore for implementing the solar project. As per the instruction of Jikkumon, the amount was handed over to Thomas Kuruvila, confidant aide of the chief minister, she said.
